Pick a photo element and highlight it. Want to keep the overall view of a photo but miss the details?  Experiment with using your computer scanner to "blow up" a portion of your photo to get all the action in your layout!  

Quick Scrapbook Tip: Cut-out Elements

Scrapbook kits come with several different patterns of paper, some with great decorative elements.  There's no need to feel obligated to use the whole sheet, have fun with cutting out portions to use as accents on your layouts and projects.  (Note the dog next to the journaling in the Scrapbook Dog layout above.)
